Cancer of the uterus

Uterine cancer is one of the most common cancers in women. It develops mainly between the ages of 40 and 60 years.

The disease begins unnoticed, but a woman who is attentive to herself can notice the first symptoms. Often after sexual intercourse, spotting appears, caused by the formation of growths or ulcers on the cervix.

If at this stage an operation is performed to remove the uterus and ovaries, the woman can live for several more years. However, if left untreated, the cancer quickly spreads to neighboring organs. Then even surgery will no longer help.

Therefore, it is extremely important that every woman after 40 years of age is examined by a doctor at least twice a year and examined for pathological discharge from the uterus. Regular diagnosis increases the chances of early detection and successful treatment of uterine cancer.
