Enamel

Emaloid (French email enamel + Greek -eides similar) is a material that resembles enamel in its properties and appearance.

Emaloid is a thermosetting polymer that is applied to the surface of metal or other products in a thin layer and then baked at high temperature. Thanks to this, a durable, smooth coating is formed that is resistant to the external environment.

In terms of chemical composition, enamel most often consists of polyester or epoxy resins with the addition of pigments and fillers. Unlike traditional enamels, which contain silicates, enamel does not contain silicon.

The main advantages of enamel coatings are their high hardness, wear resistance, resistance to chemically aggressive environments, as well as their decorative appearance. Emaloid is widely used for painting household appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting equipment, furniture and other products.
