Leprosy aphonia is a pathology of the vocal organs, characterized by the absence of voice due to damage to the vocal apparatus by the initial stages of tuberculosis, tumors, and other causes (usually of a professional nature).
Typical manifestations are hoarseness and hoarseness. As a rule, they are detected in connection with complaints of difficulty pronouncing words and phrases, pain in the throat and calf muscles. Patients may also complain of a sensation of a foreign body in the larynx, a feeling of scratching and dryness in the larynx. Aphonia occurs in 3–4% of the population, slightly more often in male taekwondo athletes than in women. In most cases, these cases cannot be actively treated and resolve on their own. Although aphonia itself is not a disease, it can be
