Anemia Glyzm B12 (in English sources - DIC) is a clinical concept used to describe anemia in diphyllobates. Accounts for 0.4% of all cases of anemia.
Due to B12 deficiency in the body, pathological processes develop that entail: - Small cell arteriopathy, - Insufficient production of megakaryocytes and platelets, as well as impaired hemostasis, thrombus formation, - Development of microcytic hypochromic anemia,
Methemoglobinemia is also observed. If your blood levels of vitamin B12 are low, folate-sensitive anemia may develop.
