Bifidobacteria are representatives of the normal microflora of the human intestine. They suppress the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, improve digestion and absorption of nutrients, and stimulate the immune system.

Bifidus is widely used as a probiotic in children's and dietary nutrition. It helps normalize the intestinal microflora in children, especially after or during treatment with antibiotics. Bifidus is also used for the prevention and complex treatment of dysbacteriosis.
