Bitter Clamp

Bitters clamp is a plate clamp that is used for manipulating microscopic specimens and glass slides in laboratory practice. It has cross arms and extended working jaws that allow you to easily and accurately grip slides and coverslips.

Principle of operation:

Using the key included in the kit, you can adjust the distance between the clamp branches. This allows you to select the optimal clamp size for the glass you want to secure. After installing the clamp on the slide, it should be rotated so that it fits tightly to the glass and does not move.

The Bitter clamp is one of the most common clamps for microscopic examination. It provides reliable fixation of glass and allows for precise measurements and manipulations with them.
