Clafotaxime is used to treat severe bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. It is effective for infections of the respiratory tract and ENT organs (except enterococcal infections), skin and soft tissues (including infected wounds and burns), bones and joints, urinary tract, pelvic organs, as well as in gynecology and obstetrics (including chlamydia, gonorrhea, caused by microorganisms that secrete penicillinase).
