Angital: description of the drug and its use

Angital is an antianginal drug produced in Russia. The active ingredient of the drug, trimetazidine, comes in various dosage forms, including film-coated tablets with a dosage of 20 mg.

Angital is used to treat coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, ischemic cardiomyopathy (as part of complex therapy), chorioretinal vascular disorders, tinnitus and dizziness (vascular disorders, Meniere's disease).

It is important to know that Angital is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to trimetazidine, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding. When using Angital, side effects may occur, such as nausea, epigastric pain and itching.
