Climax

Menopause is a period in a woman’s life that is accompanied by physiological and hormonal changes. This period occurs for every woman at different ages, but mostly after 45 years. In this case, menopause is divided into three phases. The first phase of menopause is called perimenopause. This phase lasts from 2 to 5 years from the moment the first signs of menopause appear. During this period, the woman’s body enters the menopause period and delays menstruation.

In the second phase of menopause, the stage of menopause itself occurs, i.e. lack of menstruation, and the tone of the uterus changes. As for hormonal changes, they appear in the first part of this phase - there are still estrogens. During the remainder of the period, hormone production decreases as they are replaced by androgens. The third phase of climate change is postmenopause. It is associated with the last stage of the decline of ovarian function. Typically, the duration of this phase is 1-3 years.
