Densography

Densography is a relatively new research technique that allows you to obtain detailed information about the shape and structure of an object using light waves. Translated, this word means “recording an image.” This research method occurs as a result of analyzing the vibration of the object’s atoms. For this, a special device is used - a densograph. It has a sensitive sensor that converts the smallest vibrations of atoms into electrical signals. The transformation takes place using a special lamp that emits light.

This research method was first proposed in 1970 by Max Krieger. Until now, such optical methods were used only in the field of radiography and computed tomography. Densography was later used to study objects such as clouds, color liquids, optical materials, human tissue, and crystalline structures. At the moment, the method is already widely used in various fields of science, including physics, chemistry, biology, metallurgy and others.
