Dreams are painful

Painful dreams, or birth dreams, are a special type of dreams that cause strong negative experiences in a person. Such dreams are often nightmarish in nature and may include frightening images, scenes of violence, chases, falling into an abyss, etc.

The causes of painful dreams can be different. Sometimes this is due to stress, traumatic memories or internal conflicts of the person. Strong negative emotions that are suppressed in the waking state are reflected in dreams.

The distinctive features of their homelands are the feelings of horror, anxiety, and helplessness that a person experiences. The dreamer seems to be paralyzed by fear and cannot change the events unfolding in the nightmare. After waking up, feelings of depression and anxiety often persist.

To get rid of painful dreams, it is recommended to analyze the possible causes of their occurrence and resolve internal conflicts. Relaxation techniques and maintaining a sleep and rest schedule can help. In severe cases, you should consult a psychologist or psychotherapist.
