Etazol Soluble

Etazol soluble belongs to the group of antimicrobial sulfonamide agents.

The international name of the drug is sulfaethidol. Also known by the synonyms etazol and etazol sodium. The composition includes the active substance sulfaethidol.

Indications for use are urinary tract infections, erysipelas, sore throat, pneumonia, dysentery, peritonitis, wound infection.

Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity, liver and kidney diseases, blood diseases, porphyria, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, urolithiasis, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Possible side effects in the form of headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, allergic reactions, hematopoietic disorders.

Strengthens the effect of anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, hypoglycemic drugs, and also increases the toxicity of a number of drugs.
