Filling Phase

The replenishment phase is one of the stages of the warehouse replenishment process during which goods are brought in and restocked in the store's warehouse. This stage allows the store to maintain a constant flow of new products into its inventory.

The filling phase is no less important than the other stages of the replenishment process - purchasing, sorting, packaging and transporting goods. Each of these stages creates the foundation for the next, so doing each stage correctly allows the overall procurement process to be completed more efficiently and effectively.

During the filling phase, the collection and accumulation of those goods that were ordered earlier and have already left the warehouse occurs. During this period, store employees prepare and package goods for shipment to the finished goods warehouse, while the remaining goods are stored in the central warehouse. At the end of the filling phase, the goods are sent to complete customer orders and sent back to the point of sale.

One of the important tasks at this stage is maintaining optimal inventory in the warehouse. Too little quantity of goods means wasted time, which will be spent waiting for the delivery of new orders and will lead to
