Goldscheider's Disease

Goldscheider's disease is a disease that is characterized by disturbances in heart rhythm and impulse conduction in the body. In the 19th century, German physician Adolf Johann Goldstein described this disease, which is named after him. This disease causes symptoms that may include chest pain, heart rhythm disturbances, shortness of breath, and other symptoms. Treatment of the disease requires the use of medications to restore heart rhythm. Severe forms of the disease may require surgical treatment. Goldsteiner disease has a high mortality rate. Prevention may consist of regular monitoring of heart condition, a healthy lifestyle and giving up bad habits.
