Inducto-

Inducto- (from the Latin induce - to introduce, guide, encourage) is the derivational part of complex words, meaning “to introduce, guide, encourage something.”

This term is used in scientific and technical terms such as:

  1. An inductor is a device that creates an alternating electromagnetic field.

  2. Induction heating - heating of metal using induction currents.

  3. Inductance is a physical quantity that characterizes the ability of a conductor to resist changes in current strength.

  4. Inductometer is a device for measuring inductance.

  5. Inductothermy is the heating of metals using high-frequency currents.

Thus, inducto- indicates the introduction, induction, or creation of something by an electromagnetic field or current. This term element is widely used in electrical engineering and other fields related to electromagnetism.

Inductates are substances that can affect metabolism (metabolism), changing it. For example, the effect of such drugs causes a temporary decrease in blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. At the same time, the drugs themselves do not inhibit the activity of insulin, but, on the contrary, enhance its secretion. In other words, the drug causes the so-called “excessive” stimulation of the synthesis of the hormone insulin by beta cells of the pancreas. In simple terms, this means that when an insulin production inducer is introduced into the body, beta cells will secrete more of this hormone than usual. Inducers lead to weakening of glucose control over the level of released insulin and increase the glucose content in tissues, which increases the body's resistance to insulin. This is due to the fact that glucose enhances the production of neurotransmitters - special substances that can enhance the secretory release of certain hormones, including insulin.

When using such drugs, nausea may occur, thirst, increased urination, the appearance of acetone in the urine, and even loss of consciousness. You should not abuse inducers (be sure to undergo a complete examination of your kidneys and gastrointestinal tract every year), otherwise your pancreas will begin to produce intermittently after some time.
