Leucovorin Ca Lachema 10 is a lyophilized powder for the preparation of an injection solution that contains the active substance - calcium folinate. This drug belongs to the folic acid group and is produced in the Czech Republic by Lachema AS.

The international name of Leucovorin Ca Lachem 10 is calcium folinate. This drug is also known by various synonyms such as Dalizol, Calciumfolinate-Ebeve, Leucovorin Ca Lachem 25, Leucovorin Calcium, Leucovorin-Lance, Leucovorin-Teva, Sanfitcinate and Calcium Folinate.

Leucovorin Ca Lachema 10 is used for the treatment of methotrexate intoxication, megaloblastic anemia caused by drugs, as well as for the treatment and prevention of folinium hypo- and vitamin deficiency.

Contraindications to the use of Leucovorin Ca Lachem 10 include hypersensitivity to the drug, pernicious and other megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency. During pregnancy and lactation, the drug should be used only when absolutely necessary.

Side effects from the use of Leucovorin Ca Lachem 10 may include allergic reactions.

The interaction of Leucovorin Ca Lachem 10 with other drugs may weaken the effect of methotrexate, including its therapeutic effect.
