Radial Point

Radial point (lat. punctum radiale, from lat. punctus - point and lat. radialis - radial) - in anatomy and physiology, a point on the surface of the body where the main directions of muscle fibers passing through the body converge. Radial points are most pronounced on the face and hands.

Radial points are important for determining the position of the body in space and orientation in it. They are also used to diagnose muscle and joint disorders.

In physiotherapy and exercise therapy, radial points are used for massage and stimulation of muscle activity. They can also be used in aesthetic cosmetology to improve skin tone and reduce wrinkles.
