Meksavit

Mexavit is a combined analgesic-antipyretic that is produced in Germany and Austria. It contains paracetamol and ascorbic acid, which help relieve pain and reduce fever for colds and other infectious and inflammatory diseases.

Meksavit is available in the form of effervescent tablets. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol and 200 mg of ascorbic acid.

Indications for use of Mexavit include:

– Pain syndrome: headache, sore throat, neuralgia and pain after injury or surgery.
– Colds and other infections: Mexavit may be used to relieve symptoms associated with colds and other infectious diseases.

Contraindications to the use of Mexavit:

  1. Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, including paracetamol.
  2. Severe impairment of liver or kidney function.
  3. Genetic intolerance to ascorbic acid or glucose.
  4. Age up to 12 years.
  5. Pregnancy and breastfeeding period.

Side effects of Mexavit may include allergic reactions such as rash, itching, hives, angioedema and anaphylactic shock. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness and nervous system disorders are also possible.
