Myeloid reaction

Myeloid reaction is a process that occurs in the human body when exposed to various factors, such as infection, injury, allergic reaction, etc. Myeloid cells that are in the blood begin to actively multiply and synthesize various proteins, enzymes and other substances necessary to fight infection or other factors that cause the reaction.

The myeloid reaction can manifest itself differently depending on what type of myeloid cell is involved in the reaction. For example, if granulocytes are involved, fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose, and other symptoms associated with infection may occur. If monocytes are involved, symptoms associated with an allergic reaction may occur, such as itching, hives, swelling, etc.

It is important to understand that the myeloid reaction is a normal reaction of the body to external factors. However, if the reaction is too strong or lasts too long, it can cause serious health consequences. Therefore, if symptoms of a myeloid reaction appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
