Monoinsulin

Monosulin is a monocomponent short-acting insulin solution containing one type of insulin. Release form: sterile bottles with a capacity of 0.3;0.5; 1 ml with the corresponding amount of dry insulin at 4; 10; 20 IU/ml. 5 and 10 ml bottles are used for intermediate-acting and long-acting insulin. The solution is sterile, transparent, colorless, water-soluble, pH=6.8-7.4 (before use, it is recommended to check the pH of the drug in the package). Available in dosages of 4;8;16;32;40 IU/l (14IU/ml, 28IU/ml.). Monosuinsulins are produced without coloring in special transparent containers. Used: • for replacement therapy of patients with diabetes mellitus; • for oral use in type I diabetes mellitus (monocomponent combined insulin preparations that do not contain NPH - insulin); • as part of combined insulin preparations; • when performing CTT in patients who suffer from a lack of exogenous insulin (monocomponent insulin of recombinant origin, protamine-containing pancreatic preparations); • in the treatment of Conn's syndrome; • in anesthesiology for the correction of hyperinflation
