**Interstitial Neuritis** Interstitial neuritis is a disease of peripheral nerve fibers that can lead to impaired nerve function.

Medical history

In medicine, there are many diseases of the peripheral nerves. Among them, three main groups can be distinguished: neuritis, polyneuritis and polyradiculoneuritis. Neuritis is inflammation and dysfunction of a peripheral nerve. This disease is characterized by pain in the nerve trunks, loss of sensitivity and impaired motor function. Polyneuritis is a disease characterized by multiple lesions of peripheral nerves.
