Bees, Wasps, Hornets

We must remember that when stung by bees, wasps and hornets, the first thing to do is to remove the sting left by them from the wound, and then treat it.

The following remedies are good for the bites of these insects:

  1. Soak a rag or cotton wool in garlic juice and apply. Garlic quickly relieves pain and prevents swelling.

  2. Urine also works by soaking a rag in it.

  3. Applying wet soil helps, but is less effective.

  4. It helps to apply a rag soaked in blue, parsley leaves, ammonia on a cotton swab.

If swelling and even suppuration appear from the bite, then apply a warm compress of alcohol or vodka or a cotton wool soaked in carbolic oil. Suppuration usually occurs only if the sting is not removed from the wound.
