Plum-Peach Juice

**Plum-Peach Juice**

Fruit and berry juices are multi-component drinks, since in addition to the fruit and vegetable parts, the juice also contains sugar or other sweeteners and a small amount of water.

Until January 1, 2010, fruit and berry juices were regulated by GOST (previously used in the USSR). Starting from March 21, 1986, the dry matter content was allowed to be no less than 5%, the total sugar content was no more than 8%, and the ethyl alcohol content was no more than 0.2% by volume of the product. The product must be transparent and have a sediment without visible particles. It was prohibited to include metal spirals, ropes and other materials in the packaging for ease of opening (see GOST R 52184-2003). The requirements for the composition of juices have changed several times since the summer of 2004. Namely, with the final exclusion of the trademark “Juice” from the turnover standards, new samples of the document were introduced, which were canceled some time after publication - from approximately February to August 1994, they were changed four times. There are a lot of changes to the text: this is due to the fact that Russia has begun the transition to new technical conditions for manufacturing products; a revision of production standards was necessary for full-fledged state statistics. The Technical Committee for Standardization of Food Products at the Institute of Nutrition was created on December 13, 1955
