**Aortic heart defect.** The defect is formed in the presence of stenosis (narrowing or complete obstruction) at the junction of the leaflets (or one valve) between the leaflets of other valves (mitral, tricuspid)
In the area where the valve leaflets are usually located, there is only a fibrous narrowing that may contain a blood clot. The likelihood of thrombus formation with stenosis of the ascending aorta varies at any age, but is especially increased in young and middle-aged patients. When a thrombus blocks the duct, valvoaortic valve occurs.
