Contraception

Contraceptive

Contraception is a method (or more than one method) that is used to prevent unwanted pregnancy and prevent sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Many people believe that using birth control prevents pregnancy. However, others believe that they can reduce the risk of STDs. In addition, many contraceptive methods are used not only to end pregnancy, but also for other purposes, such as regulating the menstrual cycle. Modern contraceptive drugs are also called anticonceptives. In the context of this concept, the term “anti-contraceptive” is most often used.
