X-ray kymograph

An X-ray kymograph is a device consisting of two blocks: an X-ray and a recorder. The X-ray unit of the X-ray kymograph is used to convert sound vibrations of the chest that occur during the breathing process into their images. If the patient exhales deeply and takes a breath while breathing, then each phase of breathing will look different on the x-ray.

Purpose of research methods: study of waveforms. Noting their changes over time, they record the breathing process - find out which part of the lungs is in the state of inhalation or exhalation. Each phase of human breathing corresponds to a specific waveform.

In case of stenosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the breathing phases are shifted in the duration of inhalation and exhalation relative to normal breathing
