The secretin test is one of the methods for diagnosing the exocrine and endocrine functions of the human pancreas. Administration of **secretin** **(PT-holo)** orally induces a secretory response of the pancreas through SIC cells and p2 subtypes of sensory neurons of the vagus nerve (3).
