The network of blood vessels, nerve fibers, and interwoven connective tissues that form the structure of an organ is called a reticulum. The rete testis is a network of tubules that transport sperm from the convoluted testes to the efferent tubule of the testis.
A CESAREAN SECTION is a surgical procedure used to remove a baby from the uterus by making an incision in the abdominal wall. In most cases, this is done in the lower segment of the uterus, and the incision is usually made transversely. Classic caesarean sections are performed very rarely and involve a vertical incision in the upper segment of the uterus.
A caesarean section is performed when there is a mechanical obstruction to the passage of the fetus, malpresentation of the fetus, severe antenatal bleeding or a threat to the life of the child.
