Pulmonary Stenosis

Pulmonary stenosis is a congenital narrowing of the opening that leads from the right ventricle of the heart to the artery of the pulmonary system. As a rule, it is associated with the presence of either a defect in the valves or a narrowing of the area located below them. In some cases, pulmonary stenosis can be combined with other defects of the cardiac system. With chronic stenosis of the pulmonary trunk, a person is often surrounded by pale skin, pain appears in the heart area and weakness develops in the muscles and general condition. Surgery is performed to eliminate the stenosis.

The pulmonary trunk is the main vessel through which blood enters the lungs at high speed and in accordance with the principle of a “vicious circle”
