Streptocide white is an antimicrobial sulfonamide agent produced in Russia.

Producing countries: Russia (Moscow Pharmaceutical Factory, Rusichi-Pharma, Pharmaceutical Factory of St. Petersburg, Permpharmacy, Yaroslavl Pharmaceutical Factory).

International name - Sulfanilamide.

Synonyms: Streptocide, White soluble Streptocide, Soluble Streptocide, Streptocide ointment.

Dosage form - powder.

Composition - active substance Sulfanilamide.

Indications for use: sore throat, erysipelas, cystitis, pyelitis, enterocolitis, wound infection.

Contraindications: hypersensitivity, nephrosis, nephritis, Graves' disease, anemia, leukopenia, breastfeeding.

Side effects: headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, cyanosis, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, allergic reactions.

With long-term use, monitoring of peripheral blood is necessary.
