Thecafolliculoma

The name "tecafollicostomy" refers to an ovarian neoplasm that has a histological structure similar to the theca luteinosa, also known as granulocytosis. Other synonyms for this tumor are thecoma and granulosa cell sarcoma. This is a rare neoplasm and can be found in one or both ovaries. The age of patients ranges from two to fifty years.

Thecafollicotoma is a very specific disease of the ovaries. The first symptoms in the early stages usually appear in the form of delayed menstruation and an increase in the size of the ovaries. In addition, pain and discomfort in the abdominal cavity may occur. As the disease progresses, seizures or venous thromboembolism may occur. Patients with tecafollicutam can be observed in gynecology, endocrinology and surgery. This group of diseases leads to serious consequences



**Tecafolliculama** is a rare benign tumor-like formation of the reproductive system. It occurs equally often in men and women. We are talking about pathological proliferation of ovarian tissue or in breast tissue. Most often, people under 25 years of age are affected by the disease.
