Thyroidectomy

Thyroidectomy is a surgical operation to remove part of the thyroid gland. It is indicated for some forms of goiter (excessive enlargement of the organ) in people with elevated levels of thyroid hormones (hyperthyroidism). Problems with the thyroid gland occur not only in adults, but also in children and even adolescents. Dash
