Typhoid fever Sao Paulo

Typhus (Sao Paulo) is a disease caused by rickettsiae, transmitted through insect bites (primarily infected mosquitoes). Being parasitic in the human blood, rickettsia causes the development of spots and rashes, fever, as well as muscle pain and headaches. Today the disease proceeds without complications, but has a fairly high mortality rate. The spread of the parasite was more typical in regions where bloody wars took place. Nowadays, outbreaks of Sao Paulo typhus are recorded less and less frequently.
