The problems of our time have changed dramatically, our views have changed, requirements, the causes and consequences of many diseases are changing today. For example, today there is active discussion of changes in the spectrum of known diseases. Nowadays, two radically opposite approaches to morbidity are widespread: one is aimed at reducing risks, creating effective methods of prevention and measures to combat any negative impact of environmental factors; another approach, in turn, is focused on actively combating the symptoms of the emerging disease, treatment by increasing immunity and changes in individual metabolic processes. Teletherapy may have only recently been the province of scientists and science fiction writers, but today more and more people are paying attention to teletherapy in its various forms as a practice. Perhaps the most common folk remedies, such as mumiyo, Chizhevsky cream, pantocrine, etc., contain substances that improve blood flow to organs and tissues, or help activate their protective systems in case of local pathologies.
An example of a practical approach to maintaining the health of the body and individual organs is the phenomenon of acupuncture. According to some, this is an effective remedy in the hands of a skilled specialist for the treatment of diseases of internal organs, including the gastrointestinal tract and organs of the genitourinary system. Proponents of the same opinion agree that such exposure can have a positive effect on the general condition of the body. But at the same time, there is an opinion that acupuncture is not effective in many cases, because drugs introduced into the body enter the bloodstream and are further distributed throughout the body, resulting in allergic reactions or other negative consequences.
