Zebrik-Teva: an effective cure for scabies and lice

Zebrik-Teva is an anti-pediculosis and anti-scabies product produced by Teva Pharmaceutical Enterprises Ltd. in Israel. The active substance in the drug is permethrin, which acts as an insecticide, killing parasites.

The drug is presented in the form of a cream with 1% conditioner, which is easily applied to the skin and hair. Zebrik-Teva is used to treat scabies and lice in adults and children.

Indications for use

Scabies is caused by the scabies mite Sarcoptes Scabiei and causes severe itching and rashes on the skin. Pediculosis, or lice infestation, is caused by head and pubic lice, which also cause itching and irritation of the skin.

Zebrik-Teva is recommended for the treatment of both of these diseases. The drug effectively kills parasites and eliminates itching and irritation on the skin.

Contraindications

Zebrik-Teva is not recommended for use if you are hypersensitive to permethrin or other synthetic pyrethroids, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. For children under 2 months, 5% cream is used, and for children under 2 years old, 1% cream and cream shampoo are used.

Side effects

Local reactions to the use of Zebrik-Teva may include sensations of burning, tingling, numbness, increased itching, erythema and allergic reactions such as skin rashes and swelling.
