One of the most pressing questions for every more or less bodybuilder: How to deal with overtraining? It often happens that you get carried away with the training, forgetting about everything in the world... You do an additional approach, then another... And only then you realize that you have gone a little overboard with the load, and now you may even have to recover for a whole week after such a shock training... What to do if you feel , what is it coming - this unsettling overtraining? Nevertheless, there are options, if not to stop it completely, then at least to minimize its effect... Having felt a sore throat and realized that you have gone too far, immediately follow the list:
- Reduce the overall intensity of the activity.
- Completely eliminate the load on the “affected muscle group.”
- Finish your workout with a good aerobic cool-down to help flush out lactic acid in your muscle tissue.
- At the end of the session, be sure to perform stretching exercises, paying special attention to the “affected area.”
- Without delay, proceed to rehabilitation procedures: sauna, bathhouse, steam room, contrast shower, high-quality massage - all this will speed up the metabolic processes in your body and allow you to recover efficiently and extremely quickly.
- Muscle pain due to sore throat is a signal from our body about a lack of building materials. Therefore, having completed the previous point, you definitely need to thoroughly refresh yourself. At the same time, to combat overtraining, the protein from our regular lunch diet will clearly not be enough for us. We recommend buying protein, creatine or gainer, in a word, diluting your diet with high-quality sports nutrition products. We will really need them at this stage...
- Pay special attention to rest. Be sure to sleep at least 8 hours, read a book, watch a good motivational film. Relax well and truly rest.
- Forget about the gym for the next two, or better yet, three days. You need to fully and efficiently recover in order to return to duty with new strength, cheerful and energetic!
