Accommodative strabismus

Accommodative strabismus is a pathology in which the eyeballs are incorrectly positioned relative to each other and the eyes cannot correctly assess the depth of the surrounding space. With this type of strabismus, a person does not have pathological eye movements, but there is a partial impairment of visual function and the development of amblyopia (decreased visual acuity). Occurs due to problems with focusing of the eyeball. It is not capable of fully leading to vision of nearby objects, or vice versa, of distant objects.

Symptoms of accommodative strabismus: - eyes look strange and different; -convergence and diversion have anomalous patterns;

Diagnostics consists of a visual examination and a series of examinations. Research methods include computer diagnostics and the use of modern diagnostic equipment. Based on the results of the study, the form, degree and type of vision anomaly are determined.
