Amylose

Amylose granularity of the kidneys (amylosis) is a condition characterized by the appearance of the protein amysin in the cells and their enzymatic and structural disorders. Amylotic nephropathies can be represented by various clinical forms, ranging from benign amyloid hereditary nephropathy with transformations into malignant variants. The study of the morphological properties of amylose nephropathies is necessary for the development of modern diagnostic methods and rational treatment planning, which must correspond to a comprehensive assessment of functional indicators.
