Dosage forms: capsules 150 mg

Ingredients: Penicillamine.

Indications for use: Wilson-Konovalov disease, rheumatoid arthritis (including juvenile), primary biliary cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis, scleroderma, cystinuria, cystinosis, heavy metal poisoning (copper, cobalt, gold, mercury, lead, zinc).

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, impaired hematopoiesis, agranulocytosis, myasthenia gravis, nephropathy, renal failure, Sjögren's syndrome.

Side effects: Arthralgia, lymphadenopathy, lupus-like syndrome, alopecia, thyroiditis, the appearance of antinuclear antibodies, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, myasthenia gravis, peripheral neuropathy, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, fever, nephrotic syndrome, hematuria, pulmonary-renal hereditary failure syndrome (Goodpasture syndrome), thrombophlebitis , dyspeptic disorders - nausea, vomiting, pain in the epigastric region; allergic reactions.

Interaction: Antimalarial and antitumor drugs, phenylbutazone, gold preparations increase the risk of side effects. Incompatible with antibiotics. Cannot be used with drugs that inhibit hematopoiesis. It is an antagonist of vitamin B6.

Overdose: Treatment: if necessary, carry out symptomatic therapy.

Special instructions: You should constantly monitor your blood and urine (general analysis, determine the level of alkaline phosphatase, transaminases, etc.).
