Manilla disease

Manilla disease is a rare disease caused by bacteria of the genus Chromobacterium. It is common in tropical and subtropical regions, especially Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Manilla disease has various names such as Manilla fever, Manila measles, Safflower disease, etc.

Symptoms of Manilla disease can vary and depend on the form of the disease. These include high body temperature, cough, abdominal pain, weakness and muscle aches. Some patients may also develop patches on the skin that resemble a rash or eczema. The disease can be mild, moderate or severe, but in any case its treatment requires immediate medical attention.

One of the main symptoms of Manilla disease is fever, which is accompanied by severe headache and general weakness. Other signs include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and wart-like spots on the skin. However, these symptoms may differ depending on the form of the disease. It is also worth noting that Manilla disease itself is not fatal. If the disease is severe, the patient may die from other complications, such as dehydration or a urinary infection.
