Monotrichous

Monotrichs are representatives of the type of ciliates. These are colonial-type protozoa with numerous flagella. They are colorless and incapable of photosynthesis. This type of cell is necessary for the normal functioning of the entire organism and is its integral part. Monotrichs are fairly large cells. They are a multifaceted structure consisting of several cells connected to each other. Inside such a cell there is a vacuole, a contractile system and several nuclei.
