Procter&Gamble will help young athletes

Procter & Gamble, a global partner of the Olympics, has announced the launch of the "Thank You, Mom!" campaign, which is timed to coincide with the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The goal of the campaign is to raise $5 million for the development of youth sports and provide support to more than 150 athletes.

Procter & Gamble plans to raise the necessary amount to create and support youth sports programs around the world. A portion of sales proceeds and charitable contributions from the company's leading brands, such as Pampers, Tide, Gillette and Pantene, will be used to support those whom mothers care about most - their children. In addition, P&G will help thousands of Olympian mothers around the world get even closer to the Olympics.

Mark Pritchard, P&G's chief marketing and brand development officer, notes that the company is already helping moms with its programs, and thanks to the "Thank You, Mom!" campaign. they will support not only Olympic moms, but every mom who is doing everything she can to make her child's life the best it can be.

As part of the campaign, P&G and its brands will support more than 150 world-class athletes. Among them are Michael Phelps, USA, swimming (Head&Shoulders), Paula Radcliffe, Great Britain, athletics (Fairy and Pampers), Roger Federer, Switzerland, tennis (Gillette), Jessica Ennis, Great Britain, athletics (Olay), Lin Dan, China, badminton (Gillette).

Procter&Gamble is also collaborating with Andrey Govorov (swimming), as well as several other athletes in Ukraine, whose names will be announced later.
