Postconcussion syndrome

Post-commotion syndrome is a consequence of a traumatic brain injury when the victim does not receive medical care on time, or if the therapy was ineffective or incorrect. This syndrome is caused by head injuries and is most often diagnosed in men aged 40-60 years. This dangerous condition is characterized by neurological, psychiatric disorders of the psyche, impaired memory, speech, and orientation in space. Post-commitment syndrome occurs due to cerebrovascular accident and is accompanied by a decline in cognitive abilities and paralysis



What is Post-concussion syndrome?

Post-commission syndrome is a pathological condition that occurs against the background of a concussion, causing serious consequences and disturbances in the functioning of the human brain and nervous system. Postcommission syndrome develops in people who have suffered similar injuries in the recent past. Many of the patients suffering from this syndrome may experience significant impairment in memory, concentration, mental abilities and other cognitive skills. As a result, caused by these problems, doctors often prescribe medications for such neurological problems. Although this may seem like a serious disorder, there are treatments for the condition and methods to prevent PTS in patients in the future.
