Itching in the anus

It sometimes arises from small worms arising in the passage, sometimes due to juices with the properties of bavrac or gall, which cause a burning sensation, and sometimes due to contaminated ulcers.

Treatment. Itching due to worms is treated with a worm treatment method, and itching due to ulcers is treated with an ulcer treatment method. If the itching is caused by trapped juices, then when the juices flow down from above, it is necessary to correct the diet and remove the juice, and if the juices are retained in that very place, they are removed using well-known suppositories, described among the medicines that cleanse the rectum of mucous and bile juices; this has already been mentioned in the paragraph on zahir. Sometimes itching is also treated with medications administered into the anus to balance the nature or cause numbness. Rubbing the anus with wine vinegar or applying a jar to the tailbone are very helpful.

Ulcers in the anus. They are treated with the strong drying agents mentioned in the paragraph on abrasions in the intestines; if the pain is sharp, then the sensitivity of the sore spot is dulled. The “black plaster” and verdigris plaster, which are administered on a woolen rag wound around the tip of a needle, help with ulcers.
