Review

I'm probably the last one who decided to try this famous BB cream. The product is full of surprises: from packaging to “behavior” on the skin. But first things first.

The secret of perfection BB Cream Garnier for combination and oily skin. Country of origin: France. Volume 40 ml.

Decor. The product is initially packaged in a cardboard box with the composition and promises of the manufacturer. It contains a tall, narrow tube made of soft plastic with a screw-on cap. There is a dispenser in the form of a short “spout”.

I'll go straight to the consistency - it's liquid. And as soon as you open the lid, the product immediately begins to flow out. In the future, this generally turns into some kind of disaster: the dispenser, the lid and the entire surface around them are constantly covered in cream. From which it follows that the texture of the BB cream is absolutely incompatible with the dispenser. I have heard about the fact that it is worth storing it upside down to avoid leakage of the product. I'll be honest, I haven't tried it.

The real surprise for me was the shade of the BB cream. The manufacturer offers only two tones to choose from: I have light beige (02) and I want to emphasize that this is the “palest” in the line.

The description of the shade confused me. The color is closer to yellow-beige with a pink undertone. It becomes even darker on the skin and looks frankly yellow-red on the face, and not even a hint of pink remains. If there is no tan on your face (as well as on your body), do not try to use it - the difference will be obvious.

The next thing that surprises you about this product is the pungent smell of alcohol! Not everyone, even antibacterial tonic, has such a “punchy aroma.”

It is better to apply BB cream with a sponge than with a brush. And the point is not at all that the coating is more ideal when using the first one. No, I just felt sorry for the brush. After just one brush application of this product, I still can't completely rinse it off. The feeling that a greasy film has enveloped the villi, weighed them down and stuck them together - this is the first time I have encountered this.

Application and coating. On the plus side: it spreads easily, you don’t feel it on your face, and it doesn’t sink into your pores. Perhaps that's all.

If there is inflammation on the skin, then when the cream gets in, it will sting. Emphasizes peeling. Will not cover redness, dark circles, pigmentation. And due to the shade going yellow, it will also highlight the last two on the list on the face.

BB cream takes 20-30 minutes to shrink. And even after that, it looks unnatural and is noticeable on the face. It doesn’t seem to give a dense coating, but it creates a feeling of some kind of “putty”.

Unstable. On my combination skin, my nose is shiny after just 2 hours. It definitely requires setting with powder, but even with it the durability will only last for a couple of hours.

Delete. It is better to use products containing oil for maximum skin cleansing.

And the biggest blow from this product awaited me after a week of continuous use. Instead of combination skin, I almost got oily! I noticed that even without makeup, my whole face began to “shine” after 3-4 hours, which had not happened before.

I know that this BB cream has many fans, but for me it turned out to be a failure and even a dangerous product.
