Green tea can save you from stroke

Drinking green tea daily can help reduce the risk of ischemic stroke. This conclusion was made by scientists from the Australian University of Technology. John Curtin.

Experts examined and interviewed 374 patients suffering from acute disruption of the blood supply to any area of the brain. And to consolidate the result, scientists studied another 464 people as a control group. And as evidenced by the doctors' findings, a significant reduction in the risk of ischemic stroke was observed when consuming at least one cup of tea per week.

While experts have not yet precisely established the biological mechanisms associated with the drink’s ability to reduce the risk of stroke, they have every reason to believe that green tea reduces blood pressure, blood clots and atherosclerosis.
