Signs of a crisis, expressed in a rash

When the strength is healthy and the signs are good, but the urine continues to be liquid for a long time, this is one of the signs that foreshadows a rash, since the disease originates from matter that has great heat. If the patient begins to recover without an obvious crisis and the crisis proceeds by moving, and in addition you see that both temporal arteries are greatly dilated and beat frequently, without knowing rest, and you notice that the patient’s complexion changes and breathing quickens, and sometimes you observe he has a dry cough, then know that a patient with such symptoms is in danger of an abscess in the joints, and an abscess is most often expected in the organ that tends to sweat the most during illness. Winter time and old age, as we said, are one of the signs and even reasons that the crisis will be resolved by abscesses, and abscesses formed at such a time slowly ripen, but repeated abscesses in winter and in old age are less common, since the cold makes the juices motionless, although one of the doctors, as we told you, claims the opposite.

An abundance of watery urine when the fever rises indicates that there will be pain in the lower parts of the body. One of the strong indications of a crisis by abscess is the delay of other crises and the fact that the illness lasts more than twenty days. If, during such a protracted illness, pain suddenly appears in any place, it leads to an abscess. Fever from exhaustion, if there is no thick urine, nosebleeds and weakness, cause abscesses on the joints, especially on a day of crisis; One strong indication of this is that the delayed crisis, although late, is not complete and does not return with other symptoms. Fever from exhaustion, if not resolved on the fourth day by thick urine, causes bleeding from the nose; if the exhaustion is prolonged, then abscesses appear on the tired joints or near the jaws, no matter whether it occurs from physical movements or on its own. However, an abscess on the jaws most often arises from exhaustion due to tension, for the fatigue of the joints of the jaws from movement is insignificant and these joints do not attract matter to themselves, but the fever raises it, and the loose meat takes it into itself. When exhaustion occurs from movement, abscesses in the joints occur more often. Often the doctor expects an abscess and the appropriate signs indicate it, but the patient emits a lot of thick white urine and the matter is expelled.

If a fever begins with chills and goes away with sweat, then there is rarely a rash. This is the case, for example, with three-day and four-day fever, unless the matter is very abundant, but in general, the often recurring chill every day removes a lot of matter due to the concussion and there is rarely anything left from it for abscesses. This happens with just chills, what can we say about chills with perspiration. With copious thick urine, a rash also rarely occurs.

Abscesses with chronic prolonged fever mostly form on the lower parts of the body, with more acute fever - on the upper parts, and with moderate fever - on both halves. With lithargus there are abscesses at the base of the ear and these abscesses often resolve the complete crisis. Inflammation of the lungs is often resolved by abscesses in the joints.
