Venus hair drives urine, crushes stones, causes menstruation, removes afterbirth, clears postpartum discharge and stops bleeding. According to most doctors, it strengthens the stomach, but according to Ibn Masawayh, it loosens the stomach.

With wine it helps against snake bites, rabid dogs and various reptiles.

Substitutes.
For asthma, it can be replaced with the same amount by weight of fragrant violet, adding half the weight of thickly brewed licorice juice.
