Baruj - garden basil

Essence.
Bazruj is a hawk and is well known. Its oil has the same properties as marjoram oil, but it is weaker. Bazruj contains mutually opposing forces.

Nature.
Hot in the first degree up to the second; dry at the beginning of the first. It contains excess moisture, the ability of which to moisturize almost reaches the second degree; but this is not in his substance.

Actions and properties.
He knits and loosens; usually it binds if it does not encounter an excess prone to excretion, and if it encounters the corresponding juice, it loosens. It dissolves, causes ripening and swelling, quickly rots and produces bad black gall juice. Its seeds help those in whom black bile arises.

Bazruj helps if it is spread with vinegar and rose oil on hot swellings.

Organs of the head.
Squeezing its juice in the form of drops and especially in the form of a wick with wine vinegar and camphor helps with nosebleeds. It eliminates teeth set on edge. This is one of the remedies that either soothe sneezing or cause it, depending on the nature of the person.

Organs of the eye.
In the form of a medicinal bandage, it helps against throbbing in the eye, and if eaten, it causes blurred vision due to the thickness of the moisture contained in it and its transformation into steam. Its squeezed juice in powder form strengthens eyesight.

Respiratory and chest organs.
It greatly strengthens the heart and dries out the lungs and chest; one uskurraj of its juice is beneficial for respiratory distress. Its juice is very useful for hemoptysis and increases milk production in women.

Nutritional organs.
Bazruj is difficult to digest, rots quickly and is harmful to the stomach, especially its leaves.

Eruption organs.
It strengthens the stomach, and when it encounters juice predisposed to excretion, it loosens it. It drives urine and is harmful to the anus, and its seeds help with urine retention.

Poisons.
It is applied to the place bitten by a hornet, scorpion and “sea dragon”.
