More than a month has passed since the start of our testing of the updated Clarins Multi-Active creams on three brave (and very active) readers. What are their impressions after 4 weeks?

Over the past month, a lot of things have piled up. The eldest child had to be registered for school, and this turned out to be a serious test not so much for him, but for us, the parents. At work there were active preparations for the birthday celebration of our fitness club, so after training I stayed at the rehearsal, came home later than usual and slept less than I was used to. In the morning, I washed my face with cleansing water for normal or dry skin with peach extract - it will not remove serious dirt, but light makeup is easy and ideal for morning care.

After cleansing and toning, I applied the Multi-Active Day Moisturizer for Dry Skin - and, almost immediately, makeup. The foundation applied perfectly and did not conflict with the care, which made me very happy.

During testing, I refused to use serums and I can confidently say that the face cream did its job well and perfectly moisturized and protected throughout the day. The only thing: I would prefer day care with SPF, the extended Multi-Active line has one, next time I’ll buy it.

In the evening, after removing my makeup, I washed my face with a softening and cleansing foaming cream for normal or combination skin with cotton extract - this product has long been my favorite, it cleanses well, refreshes and does not dry out the skin.

Afterwards I alternated Multi-Active night cream for normal and dry skin and various night masks (cream alone in my case, alas, is no longer enough).

What conclusions can I draw after a month of using the updated Multi-Active line:

1. The creams suited me 100%. The skin is moisturized and well-groomed. No negative reactions in the form of clogged pores, rashes, peeling, allergies.

2. There is a serious lack of eyelid skin care cream in the line! An active lifestyle and lack of sleep have the greatest impact on this sensitive area. I hope the brand will expand the range.

3. Day cream can be used daily, but for complete evening care I need to add additional products.

4. The updated version has become richer in texture (the previous version was not designed specifically for dry skin), but at the same time it is noticeably better absorbed and has a fresher and more pleasant aroma.

5. I didn’t expect a wow effect, but the creams perform their task perfectly - to moisturize, protect, and prevent the appearance of wrinkles. I will continue to use the Multi-Active line, it works very well for me!
